to keep pests out seal all exterior gaps under the pop up with expanding foam and place moth balls inside the trailer. And, the best way to keep your cushions and mattress's from becoming lunch you should remove all fabric related items and place in a cool, dry basement or storage place.
if you do happen to become a victim of rodent rage I know that there is a dealership that can get replacement coverings custom made. Call Allseasons Rv, www.allseasonsrv.com and ask for Ted.
He was able to get me coverings custom made for my old camper.
update, Matt at www.lakeshore-rv.com can also get the custom made canvases as well, one more avenue!
Hey everyone! I just bought my first RV --a 2005 Tiffin Phaeton. I was just wondering if any of you have looked into buying a warranty on your RV's? I've heard they can really save you some money, especially when you don't buy through a dealer. Any suggestions?
Extended coverage for your RV is a good thing, if the dealer offers it, I would take it , but be careful of 3rd party coverage. It is a gamble on insurance anyway, you may need to make a large repair, the the extended coverage is good, but most the time you will pay for "Blue Sky" but its there if you need it.
Thanks for your input! I submitted a free quote request at www.wholesalewarranties.net and it seems very reasonable. I think I'm going to go with them, I really liked the customer service.

I did some research and it seems like RV's are pretty prone to breaking down, so I think I'll feel a lot better when we leave for our first big trip in May and I know that if I do have a problem I've already got it covered.
Make a checklist of how to "pack up" RV for leaving (i.e. TV antenna down, steps up, hot water heater off, TV strapped in). This will save you a lot of headaches--OR, it will save you being waved at on the interstate (like we were!) with people pointing to your antenna or your steps...lol! :) Patty Claney, owner, Big Creek RV Park

The last thing that I do before I leave home or camp is a final walk around. I check to make sure that all doors are locked, steps up, step handle pushed in, antenna down and do a final check of the hitch, equalizer bars and anti sway bar. Then I do the light check on the trailer and make sure the mirrors on the truck are extended. This also gives me a chance to make sure that we left the campsite clean for the next person. Happy camping.
Question: We bought a 34' Winnebago and are delighted with it. We have a 5 year old grandson and the only seat belts are on the coach. I would love to seat him at the table. Do they make something you can attach to the table? Also, we have a dog. Do you put your dog in a cage when you are on the road? They have seat belts for dogs - does anyone use them?
Because most Internet users are bombarded with ads every day, as a whole society has become so used to them people generally do not click on them. Banners and even link ads are losing their charm because many people do not trust an online advertising campaign backed by money. With social marketing, you can provide a more human touch to attract potential customers.
