Totally love the uncomplicated RV lifestyle and do as much workamping as possible We are nearly fulltimers but haven't completely severed the umbibilical cord to our stationary homeOne of us keeps procastinating. Of course I understand as our home for the past 36 years was built on family land handed down for 3 generations.
Gary just recently retired frin Lockheed/Martin after 36 years and we then fell totally and completely in love with the uncomplicated RV lifestyle and do as much workamping as possible We are nearly fulltimers but haven't completely severed the umbibilical cord to our stationary homeOne of us keeps procastinating. Of course I understand as our home for the past 36 years was built on family land, handed down for 3 generationsWe lovebike riding, camping, FISHING, hunting, Site seeing, walking and photography, meeting new friends and seeing old oneand being with family, especially our son, Greg and our one and only grandchild, Cooper.are just some of our reasons for loving the life style Being grandparent is just too wonderful to explain although it buts a crimp in our travel plans to a small degree. When we are away, we really missGreg, Misty and Cooper. We would love to live closer so twe could keep hCooper whenever necessary or possible. It just throws a monkey wrench in our long ago planned future.Of leaving Mississippi and living somewhere differentof course workamping entitles us to livefor short periods of time in different location. But because we love our Son and his family, we do not take position too far away, such as Oregon, Maine, etc.

What exactly does a workamper couple do? I know it includes running a camp, but are you doing the hard labor, like cleaning bathrooms and mowing?

Hi back to you. we miss you too and miss the weekend campouts. We spent today working the biannual craft and flea market here in the park. I had brought a good bit of junk, etc. from home and got rid of most of it.But now I am really, really tired! We leave here next Sunday, Aug.29. we will only be home a couple of days before we head to Southwest Texas. We will be there about 2 weeks then, unless we land a workamper job we will come home for a little while(maybe). If we find a job and they need us to stay,we will. we have even considered the possibility of staying til March, 2009. Then returning here.Who knows. Ya'll keep it between the ditches and on the surfacewhen you go fishing. Take care, we Love all of you, Gary and Christi
