First Camping Trip of the Year

We just returned from our first trip of the year and it was great. We went to a state campground near Cheyboygon MI call Aloha State Park. We were able to get a site on the channel that leads out to Mullet Lake. The weather was beautiful. We had a pair of Baltimore Orioles that were living in the trees on our site so we had beautiful music all weekend. It was wonderful.

It's almost here....

Our camping season is about to begin. I am so excited! We took our camper to the dealer to have a few minor things taken care of. Should have it back soon. We hope to camp over Mother's Day weekend. It is my daughter's birthday Saturday and mine on Sunday so we thought a camping trip would be a great birthday gift for both of us. We will be heading over to the Cadillac area where we can celebrate my oldest sons girlfriends birthday, too. Should be fun. I am looking forward to it, that's for sure… Continue

As to me taking them with me no I haven't because we are usually busy at the beach or I just wanted to sit and relax since we only took the one vacation. That is my show car. It is a 1976 CHEVY VEGA. I took out the 87 horse power 4 cylinder engine and shoehorned in a 300 horse power Chevy 350 cu inch V-8. I have won a lot of awards and it sure is fun to drive. Thanks for asking.
