Mt St Helen

We have arrived in Washington state. We have been here twice befor and have never stopped at Mt St Helen, but this was the year. I am so glad we went. The visitor center is $3.00 per person and they have a movie along with tons of information and pictures of the event. From the Visitor center we went to the Observatory. That was amazing I was awe struck. I can't even imagine how it looked in person. The Observatory cost 8.00 per person. Boy I think it was worth it. They have a movie also and a… Continue

Reviewing California Roads

Well in my last blog I knocked the I5. The road was trashed, but to all be advised there is hope. We Stayed in the Deltas' east of San Francisco. Then drove to the 101 North of San Francisco. The 101 is beautifull. The road is mostly in great shape, some rough spots but not many. It is a breathtaking drive all the way up. We are in Klamath this week and are enjoying the Redwoods. For those of you that may be traveling this way think about staying at the Klamath River Rv park. They have spruced… Continue

California Highways

Well folks we are in California and have been for the last 12 days. The roads are terrible. My insides are all shook up. We are just south of Sacramento enroute to the redwoods. We will be there tomorrow. I think Arnold needs to do some major road repair. I have yet to see roads this bad. We came from Arizona and the roads are great there. This is deffinately a step down. We drove up the I (5) and saw many comercial farms, cows and sheep. Lots of small mountains, all dry. We didn't get off the… Continue

Well almost a month in our Motor home. Things are going fine. We have met several couples that are full timers, Seven years, ten years and so on. We love the weather in Arizona but it will be soon getting to warm here. We will be heading to California soon. We went to old Tucson last week and I loved all of the history. If your a movie buff or history is your thing you might really like this. We took our grand daughter and she just liked the skits. No matter what we had fun. This week end we… Continue

Day 12

Well the three of us are surviving. We took 6 days to travel from Michigan to Arizonia. Looking back , John and I have said that if the winds are bad we stop till they do. The winds were bad. gusts from 25 -50, it is just to stressful handeling the Motor Home when it is weather like that. So we are learning. We are in Arizonia to see our son and his daughter and also my father. Everyone is fine. Everytime I see my granddaughter she has grow up more. Amazing. We are staying in a great park in… Continue
