While I was in Coffeyville, I started some renovations on my RV.  I tore the propane oven out and rebuilt the kitchen cabinet.  I left room for a slide in cooktop, but will have use-able storage where that useless oven was housed.  I…

Have you found more forest being cleared to make more campsites? My husband seems to think that is a trend with the economy the way it is.

I was very disappointed to see that the Escapees RV Club decided to clear cut several acres of pine forest for additional RV parking at Rainbow's End in Livingston. It is just sad and ugly.

Wow, I haven't been on this site in a while.  I was surprised at all the comments left.  I recently finished up a work camping stint with amazon.com in Coffeyville, KS, and took the RV up to Olathe Ford in Gardner, KS for a good mechanical once over.  That was AFTER the blizzard and I was snowed in at Coffeyville for two weeks!  Got the oil changed and the generator serviced.  They gave my Class C a clean bill of health and told me it is in GREAT SHAPE for it's age.  The peace of mind of hearing that is priceless.  Those guys were super at accommodating me and the dogs as well.  They have electric hook ups so you can stay in your RV over night.  Just had to entertain dogs during the day while they worked on it.  Dogs do not properly appreciate sight seeing trips, by the way.  They were pretty stressed out that some man "took the house", and that was all they could talk about all day.  When the rig was finished, the nice folks at Olathe Ford let me stay one more night after the tiring day of running in fields with the dogs all day, and did not immediately give me "the boot".
