Was with MAC-V in '70, at Phuloc, South of Camp Eagle (phubai). Short timer, there. Co-located with 2nd/327th 101st. Spent time with locals, no interaction with US forces. Went over alone, came back alone.
Hi Michael; We would like to welcome you to the group (RVbug). We are glad you are with us.How long have you been RVing.Again welcome and happy camping.:^)
Hi Michael: I have a question, more of curiosity, as to what guideline, if any, you had in mind for membership in the Viet Nam group. There are some of us from the era that take a hard line and others that consider anyone that served in theater, like me, if not in country to be a Viet Nam vet. Just curious. Let me know.
Vietnam, 69-70, at a little dusty place called LZ Baldy, unless it rained then it was a red quagmire. Was at Phu Bai for 3 1/2 weeks and then went to Chu Lai. Was with 1st Radio Battalion. Go RVing once a month. Wife retires on the 27th of May and after the kids leave are going on an extended road trip. Wherever it takes us. Ernie
