My mom and I have a really good relationship and that is key to our getting along in such close quarters. She no longer drives and is dependent on me for transportation but we do take time away from each other. She has been housebound with my father…

Once a week she would leave to purchase groceries. The last five years of my father's life, I moved in to help care for him. When he passed away I asked mom what was she going to do? All she wanted to do was travel. I sold everything I owned, quit my job and she sold the family business. We haven't looked back. Life is to short for what if and what might have beens..... throw caution to the wind and put your faith where it belongs. Whoops I didn't mean to get preachy.
