FULLTIME RVING ALL THE WAY!

I DID IT! I am a FULL TIME RVER!!

It’s been a crazy and very hectic last four weeks or so..But now I am settled in and lovin it!

As some of you know.. I sold everything.. Got rid of the house..And moved into a 5-Wheel!

Getting it together!

I can't believe Ryan's been gone overseas a week now.. I can actually say his name and not cry.. most of the time..He called to let me know he is OK.. I've sent him a care package and another sits on the table getting filled up! I'm filled with pride..for my son..Pride for what he and others like him do for a living . Saying Good -bye

Like dead people walking I travel in the dark of the early morning..

slowly..

unbelieving

in a daze I go..

not wanting to..

but needing to

as I near my destination

a lump swells in my throat

nerveousness overwhelmes me

I am sick at my stomach

A Mothers Heart

At 11:39pm on February 17, 2008, beverly davis said…: Today I sit and think ..about the new venture I am about to take on the open road.. at times scary to think about doing it alone.. and at times exciting.. but right now all that is put aside..for this moment all I can think of all is that fact my son is shipping out to Afghanistan. You see he is a United States Marine.. through and through.. and I am proud that he has raised his hand for his Country. I won't debate if we should be there or not. The cold hard fact is that we are. And there are sons and daughters..mother and fathers ...sisters and brothers..nieces and nephews.. aunts and uncles..husbands and wives..grandsons and granddaughters ..family and friends....all over this Country serving in the line of battle. From one mother to another..I pray for all of them to return safely. And I pray for the day ..when they won't have to go. My son has been to Iraq.. and now he will go to Afghanistan..and I will be standing proudly waving the American flag.. when the bus takes him away..with tears falling from my face.. saying good-bye..to my son...He thinks of it as an adventure.. another chapter in his life..looking out for his Country.. He makes me proud. He encourages me to go out and live my dreams..see things.. for no one knows more than a United States Marine..how precious today is.. for there may be no tomorrow..I know I will have days of worry.. days of sadness.. and days of joy to hear his voice on the phone..and relief when he comes home..I hope to post his updates and mine.. and I will continue to live my life as he does.. looking at each new road as an adventure...as I travel..he does to..I only wish I could go with him.. but I know he carries my love with him as I do his..and ...We both pray...
