Do you want to get your family mixed up in an activity that might bring you closer together? Then why not think about camping. But which particular items are you going to want to buy before you head off on a camping trip?
- A Tent: Duh right? No, many people forget the one thing they need most, and though you think it is unimportant to put it on your list, you will get half way to your destination and remember it is at the front door. So make it number one on the list and pack it first.
-Sleeping Bags: This seems like a no-brainer but many people spring for the cheapest bag they can find. Make sure you get cotton or wool (depending on the location). Cotton helps ventilation in the warmer climates, wool insulates for the colder climates.
-Can Goods: Bring soup, fruit, beans, ravioli, and stew all in a can, which makes for a great space saver and easy meal on the go
-Appropriate Clothes: Wherever you are going, be it sunny beaches or snowy mountains, bring clothes for the outside weather not inside.
- Road Side Assistance: Whether it is AAA or a roadside kit, make sure you have the essentials like spare tire, tools to change it, flares, flashlight, spare cell battery, and insurance information.
