Favorite Campgrounds & Resorts

I like to hear about new places to take my family Rving! So I thought you might like to know about this brand new resort near Castle Rock Washington! We were going to Mt St Helens area in Washington State. We usually stay at the state park on Spirit Lake Highway but it was summer and to our dismay the park has no vacancies. Seems like this is becoming a real problem for us spur of the moment campers! But we lucked out and found Toutle River RV Resort to be newly opened and had vacancies. The RV sites are grassy and most sites appeared to be pull thrus and big rig friendly. They have so many amenities I suggest you check out their website www.greatrvresort.com and see for yourself. I noticed they were working on a pool and clubhouse and the resort said it would be ready next spring 2010. From the progress I saw it looked nearly complete. It is really going to be a great resort when done! My family had a great time without the pool, we just went to the river to swim!
