We usually can't wait to get out of this populous state when we go on our longer RV trips . However, I have to admit, the weather really is hard to beat. Along the coast from the San Francisco Bay Area to San Diego, we have only had one day of rain since January 4th and it is now almost the middle of February. OK, no rain is one thing but it has also been unbelievably warm and sunny. Most days the temperature varies between 60 and 70 degrees. Our current renters came from Sedona, Arizona. They rented the motorhome for a week with the intention of just relaxing and enjoying the California coast. Before they were due back they called and asked if they could stay another week. Back home it was minus 4 and very wintery but in California it was 70 degrees. I guess I can't blame them for preferring to sit in the California sun drinking wine and watching the sun set over the Pacific instead of being in sub zero temperatures.
