Scotland UK keep it....he he!! So I thought Scotland was one of the most sceanic places I'd been too....ok so Black Bear lake in the Rocky's was a great day...did not actually get the Kayak into it...Miss Hitler park warden made sure of that...however the walk around it (half mile) secured it as the best sceanic lake I have seen...the walk to nearby Alberta falls made the day.....this was last Friday...Saturday we drove 200 miles to our next camp site, here in Howard, Colorado, a very nice, clean, welcoming camp site...the trip down was just that... a real "trip"...driving through some of the most awesome views of the trip so far....we reached over 12.000 ft the highest with the coach...even though we were doing 13 miles an hr at the top, 3 miles per gallon...(thats befor the computor went ballistic) oh what sceanery....
First real trip of our stay here was yesterday...I've posted a few of the many pics taken...the trip being to Royal Gorge Bridge, this place boast's the highest suspension bridge, the steepest incline railway, the longest sky tram in the world and, yes I managed to get Rose to do all...what fun...the bridge cost $250.000 in 1923 took 120 guys 7 months to build..I'm still in a daze over that, never mind watching Rose walk the bridge, I tried jumping up and down testing the rotten wood planks for her....hmmm she was not pleased...also tried to get everyone to lean back and forth in the sky tram...great fun...well the screams from Rose was ear piercing to say the least...really a stupendus day though...even when Rose had me arrested and thrown in Jail for trying to get everyone to jump up and down on the incline railway to get it down the gorge quicker...he he!! wow what a day people what a day...
