What does the future hold for the RV market?

Changes in the frequency and duration of vacations favor the RV industry. Americans are traveling shorter distances and on weekends with less planning, according to recent studies. For RV owners, this is a convenient travel pattern.

Primary RV demand remains very good and the potential for future sales is bright, according to a 2005 University of Michigan study. Among U.S. households that have never owned an RV, more than

Just signed up a few days ago and was looking around the web site and noticed you also live in Jacksonville. Is it Jacksonville, Florida?

I hate to comment to negative on the Gas Motorhome, but having owned one for several years, There is some real disadvantages. Service is costly, braking is a major concern compared to a diesel with compression brakes. You have some convienence in being in a motor home as when setup, but overall I am really pleased with the switch to a 5th wheel. The offset of price more than offsets the motorhome costs. We purchased a new 1 ton truck and I am really pleased at the performance on hills and pulling.
