To blog or not to blog...that is the question.......

This past year has been a roller coaster ride for us. In October my Mom became ill at the age of 86...she was living with one of my sisters in Tennessee. We decided to take the camper and go up to check on her and the day we were to leave we got a call that she had passed away. She passed away the day after her 87th birthday. Since she was coming home (Jacksonville) for her funeral we did not go up. The next week we went to Missouri for our annual hunting trip at the farm...on the way home 12 da… Continue

We have an archery tournament in Calvary, Ga. this weekend and will dry camp at the tournament. This is our first real chance to use our Yamaha 2400IS Generator (we have only previously tested it in the driveway) Tom retested it today and the fuel cock lever is broken! Bummer...he found a way to work around it. Tomorrow he will call local dealers to see if they have the part in stock. This lever is what turns the gas on an off for the generator. I never did post pics of our camp out at Silver River State Park. I still get tired every day...they say it will take 6 months to get back to normal.

BTW I am sooooooo glad that my radiation treatments are finished! YIPEE! I look forward to your next posting ...I don't even know where Lake Griffin State Park is...........can't wait to find out!

We were also thinking now while the fuel cost are so high, we don't want to not go RVing just to have a closer place to help with the high rising cost of fuel. There are a lot of ammenties that have made this a top place for us to visit again. The grandchildren loved the pool & lake and we loved the warm & friendly atmosphere.
